Houdini Card Escape by Petrik

A card is cosen, then honestly returned to the deck. Entire deck is put into the case and two rubber bands go around the outside of the case as shown. Nevertheless, you magically "pull" the chosen card free of its prison, box still locked shut by the rubber bands.

Audience can remove bands, open box and remove the deck.

For another surprise, the chosen card jumps back into the closed empty box - and all can be examined.
